We’re Semi-Toned, the University of Exeter’s all-male a cappella group. Founded in 2010 as a barbershop quintet, we’ve expanded over the years into a 12 man team, known for our unlikely sense of humour, even more unlikely mash-ups and impeccably suspect dress sense.

In recent years, we’ve gone on to sing for Children in Need and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Tour, win the Voice Festival UK and tour annually to both the USA and the Edinburgh Fringe. In 2014 we became the first a cappella group to receive a prestigious Bobby Award, and in December 2016 we were crowned winners of the BBC TV show The Choir: Gareth’s Best in Britain.
